Free tutorial for creating a new folder

Instructions for creating a new folder to store your fonts in before installing them.

The instructions here are for Windows XP, but should be easily adapted for other versions of Windows.

Although you can add a new folder to your desktop by right clicking and clicking on new-folder, I am going to show you how to add a new folder to "My Documents". Begin by clicking on start, then my documents in the start menu.

Within my documents, under file and folder tasks, click on Make a New folder. A new folder will then show within "My Documents"

Right click on the folder which is now titled new folder and click on rename. Name this folder so you can distinguish what is in the folder. I named mine Scrapbooking Fonts.

You are now ready to begin downloading fonts to your new Scrapbooking Fonts folder.
